mautadite. First off, thank you so much for writing this fic for me. I hope you have a great time making it. This letter is just a series of guidelines; just try to avoid my do-not-wants and I'm sure I'll love what you write. If my prompts don't get you going, and you want to take the fic in another direction, or mix and match prompts, feel free! I've requested these fandoms and ships because I'm really invested in them all, in one way or another, and I'd be happy to receive fanworks for any of them. Make something that you'd enjoy yourself!

General likes: (please feel free to include) friendships, friendships that develop into romance, introspection, character studies, domestic fluff, mystery, family relationships, exploration of intense loyalty. I like future fic and modern AUs and canon divergent AUs, in the vein of 'what if so-and-so didn't die, what if this happened instead of that'. Feel free to explore any and all of your trans headcanons. I'm really into character interaction, it's often my favourite part of a story, but a good plot can really get me going too! There are a bunch of tropes that I'm quite fond of, like 'separated from the group and surviving on their own', 'undercover as a couple', 'sharing a bed', 'friends to lovers'. I quite like fusion AUs, so if an idea strikes you that you can meld/combine with Pacific Rim or His Dark Materials, go for it, if that's your thing! :)

General dislikes: (please try to avoid) rape/dubcon (discussing or mentioning them is fine, especially in survival/recovery scenarios), character bashing, character death, first person pov, a/b/o, super depressing/sad endings. I don't need out and out fluff, and I do enjoy angst, but I'd definitely prefer something that ends happily or hopefully. If infidelity is a part of the story, I'd prefer that you didn't concentrate on it too much.

A Song of Ice and Fire
- Asha Greyjoy/Alysane Mormont, Melisandre of Asshai/Selyse Baratheon, Brienne of Tarth/Margaery Tyrell

There's no femslash ship in this fandom that I don't love at least a little, but here are a few that deserve a bit more attention imo!

» Asha/Alysane - Gimme those canon divergent fostering scenarios. So much potential for changing relationships and personalities. It'd be cool to see something where Asha is fostered to the Mormonts when Theon is shipped off to the Starks after the Greyjoy Rebellion. We've also only ever seen Alysane in the North, in her own element. A fic that puts her on Asha's boat somehow, sailing up and down Westeros, going on adventures... that would be amazing! What kind of pirate would Aly be, and what circumstances would lead her to join up with Asha? I'd just really like to see what these two strong, warrior like women would get up to when left to their own devices.

» Melisandre/Selyse - I for one am convinced that Selyse was always far more devoted to Melisandre than she was to R'hllor, and I'd love to see some exploration of that. Tell me about their first meeting, perhaps; was Selyse immediately entranced by Mel, or was she suspicious at first? It would be delicious to see her slowly falling for her. And on Melisandre's side, maybe you'd want to get into her head a bit, explore her motivations and feelings? I definitely think she had a lot of genuine respect and affection for Selyse. I don't keep up with the HBO show, but gifsets of that bathroom scene cured my acne and started me writing a 'Selyse is gay' manifesto in my head. I'd absolutely be up for your interpretation of that events that followed.

» Margaery/Brienne - These ladies are polar opposites in so many ways, and that's what makes this such a great ship. Their dynamic is such a fun one; Brienne a little intimidated by Marg's femininity, Margaery fascinated by Brienne's strength. In a world where Renly was never assassinated and Brienne remained at his side, I'd like to see her being assigned as Margaery's bodyguard, and getting to know the real woman behind all the rumours and speculation, the woman who actually does have a heart of gold. And Margaery, for all her ambition and pragmatism, would be very gentle with Brienne I think. And I'd love to see Brienne coming to the realisation that Renly and Margaery are in the most lavender of marriages, and her reaction to that. Post-war scenarios are also my favourite; give me rebuilding and healing on Tarth.

The Heroes of Olympus
- Silena Beauregard/Clarisse La Rue

These girls make up one of my favourite dynamics EVER. I love unlikely friendships between girls, and I like them especially when they turn into something more.

» How about a war-time fic? I absolutely ADORE the Achilles/Patroclus parallels in their story. I'd love something that highlights that, and shows how they work together in battle in way that we never got to see in canon. In general, a canon AU would be great, where we get to see how Silena deals with the ramifications of her actions, and how Clarisse backs her up. It'd be nice, too, to explore small intimate moments between them, like Silena working through Clarisse's insecurities with her, or Clarisse teaching Silena new battle techniques. Parent swaps are also fun! What would it be like if the girls looked the same and had basically the same personalities as they do right now, but Clarisse was a daughter of Aphrodite and Silena was a daughter of Ares? I'd love to see how their relationship would play out there.

Overwatch
- Widowmaker/Tracer, D.va/Zarya, Zarya/Symmetra

I've yet to play this game myself but I am SO DEEP into the story and the characters, they're all amazing.

» Widowmaker/Tracer - More than anything, Widowmaker makes me kind of sad. Tortured and reconditioned into turning against your team and family? T__T and I honestly think Tracer would be one of the first people to give her a chance, once she knew the truth. I'd really love some fluff for this ship, in any way you can give it. How about an AU where Amélie is rescued from Talon before the transformation into Widowmaker is complete, and Tracer is there for her rehabilitation? I'd also like to hope that in the future Overwatch will figure out what was done to her and how to reverse it. Perhaps she and Tracer had a friendship/connection before the incident, and Tracer is essential in bringing her back to herself. Even more interesting would be a scenario in which Widowmaker defects Talon on her own when some of their more nefarious plans become clear, and she has to reintegrate herself into Overwatch amidst a lot of tension and mistrust. Barring all that, I'm a fucking SUCKER for WidowTracer's current relationship, with all their mid-battle banter and flirting, and I'll love it if you go in that direction too!

» D.va/Zarya - I'm pretty sure almost every woman in the world has a thing for Zarya, right? Definitely. I'd love to see Hana with a semi-flustered, very excitable crush on her, where she just wants to always hang out with her and share tips with her and just be around her because she thinks she's so COOL, and Zarya is half-flattered, half-bemused by the hero-worship. They're similar in interesting ways, both massive heroes for their countries in the war, but D.va's successes have brought her a lot of personal glory, while Zarya gave UP glory in order to be a soldier where she was needed most. I'd love to see interactions based around that. Also, their ultimates in game combine so well, it'd be cool to see them in the field. And I wouldn't be me if I didn't mention: height difference. 🙏 Incorporate that however you like.

» Zarya/Symmetra - I feel like these two wouldn't gel so much at first; Zarya as someone who's so determined to protect those who can't protect themselves would be critical of Sym's past involvement with the Vishkar Corp, and Symmetra isn't great at making friends. It would be a while before they became friends and more; show me some of that journey! I'd love to see them on a mission together, learning to work alongside each other, perhaps being separated from their team and having to rely on one another. (I love that their tool-kits are all about protecting their teammates; maybe you could work that in?) And because I can't resist a prompt that fits with my 'every lady is hot for Zarya' thesis, how about something where Symmetra cutely and perhaps clumsily tries to woo Russian Xena? :)

Mass Effect
- Shepard/Miranda Lawson, Samantha Traynor/Ashley Williams, Shepard/Ashley Williams

LADIES IN SPACE!! Some general Mass Effect notes: I prefer Paragon Adept Shep, though class doesn't matter so much to me. If you'd like to write a custom Shep, here's mine, but I also love the redheaded babe, so it's all good!

» Shepard/Miranda - Nothing makes me happier than the thought of cool, practical and collected Miranda having the biggest crush on the galaxy's saviour and being slightly miffed about it. These two would be great for the 'undercover as a couple' trope. Maybe in ME2, Miranda wants to go off on a solo mission to a gala at a criminal den to retrieve some info and Shep is all 'it's dangerous to go alone' and Miranda is like 'fine, I guess you can be my gf, whatever'. Action and accidental romance ensue. And for something a bit different, I like torturing myself with thoughts of Miranda trying to once again put Shepard back together after the ending of ME3. (I'm partial to Control, but chose whichever ending best suits the story you want to tell!) Whether or not she succeeds in bringing Shep back to life this time is up to you; I'm okay with a sad ending for this prompt.

» Samantha/Ashley - I'll admit it; I'm a sucker for f/f damsel in distress type scenarios, and to me, Ashley fits the role of a big damn hero pretty damn well. I especially like this ship because they'd just be so good for each other; Ashley seems like exactly the type that Sam would go for. Maybe Samantha gets taken along on a mission out of necessity, and has to depend on the LC to get her out of a sticky situation. Bridal style carries are a plus. The reverse would also be amazing; Ashley gets captured by Cerberus/stranded outside the LZ/injured during a firefight and it's up to one plucky comms specialist, armed with a pistol, an omnitool and her wits, to rescue her gf. Something else that connects them (like it connects most of the Normandy) is their fierce loyalty to Shepard; maybe you could do something showing how they cope after losing her.

» Shepard/Ashley - Something that I'll never stop complaining about is the fact that Fem!Shep and Ashley's entire arc over the series FELT like it was friendship/camaraderie turning towards romance, but we never got the follow through because Bioware thinks Ashley is straight. SMH. Honestly, any kind of character interaction between these two is great in my books. Maybe some post-Virmire angst where Shep knows, but won't say that her feelings for Ashley had more than a little part to play in why she saved her. Or maybe an AU where Shep manages to convince Ash to come aboard during ME2; I'd love a slow burn with Ashley realising that all her abandonment issues stem from buried romantic feelings for Shep. In ME3, I just loved how they slowly came to trust each other again. Gimme downtime shenanigans, getting closer during shore leave, maybe a date on the Strip; something that's as close to domestic bliss as you can get during war-time.
