mautadite, a Chocolate Box virgin, and I'm pretty excited. Thank you so much for creating this fanwork for me. I hope you have a great time making it. You know the drill: this letter is just a series of guidelines; just try to avoid my do-not-wants and I'm sure I'll love what you write. If my prompts don't get you going, and you want to take your work in another direction, or mix and match prompts, feel free! I've requested these fandoms and ships because I'm really invested in them all, in one way or another, and I'd be happy to receive fanworks for any of them. Make something that you'd enjoy yourself!
Here are some of my general likes and dislikes.
General likes: (please feel free to include) friendships, friendships that develop into romance, introspection, character studies, domestic fluff, mystery, family relationships, exploration of intense loyalty. I like future fic and modern AUs and canon divergent AUs, in the vein of 'what if so-and-so didn't die, what if this happened instead of that'. Feel free to explore any and all of your trans and/or nonbinary headcanons. I'm really into character interaction, it's often my favourite part of a story, but a good plot can really get me going too! There are a bunch of tropes that I'm quite fond of, like 'separated from the group and surviving on their own', 'undercover as a couple', 'sharing a bed', 'friends to lovers'. I quite like fusion AUs, so if an idea strikes you that you can meld/combine with Pacific Rim or His Dark Materials, go for it, if that's your thing! :)
General dislikes: (please try to avoid) rape/dubcon (discussing or mentioning them is fine, especially in survival/recovery scenarios), character bashing, character death, first person pov, a/b/o, super depressing/sad endings. I don't need out and out fluff, and I do enjoy angst, but I'd definitely prefer something that ends happily or hopefully. If infidelity is a part of the story, I'd prefer that you didn't concentrate on it too much.

» Given the nature of this exchange, I tried to keep my prompts short and simple. But if you'd like me to expand upon what I have below, feel free to leave me an anon comment/send me questions through the mods.
» Also given the nature of this exchnage: don't worry too much about plot! I would 100% love a short plotty fic, and tailored prompts for that, but also: fluff without plot, porn without plot, and general slice of life-y moments are the bomb.

Some general notes: please no magical fix-its for either Susannah's physical disability or her personality disorder. That said, while I don't mind if Detta/Odetta/Mia make appearances, I'd prefer if Susannah was holding the reins for the majority of the fic.

Vivienne is one of my faaaaavourite characters ever, and I don't see her in art as much as I'd like to. Hence, these requests: two rare but really really cute ships that I'd ADORE seeing art for. One tiny request that you don't need to feel obligated to follow: I'd love to see Vivienne without her headdress and with hair. Screw canon, I thought it was lazy lol. Maybe a twist out, or twists, or dreads, or a puff! But again, no obligations! <3 I know that art is tricky to give/get prompts for, so definitely feel free to edit my prompts, twist it to your liking, go where your muse takes you. :)

» Roland/Eddie/Susannah - I love all of these characters, but mostly I love Eddie and Suze, and they make me love Roland. Show me training, becoming gunslingers post The Drawing of the Three, a tender moment that's no less sweet for the guns in their hands. Rare smiles from Roland. One or both of them holding Suze. A moment of parenting for Jake. Eddie and Susannah inviting Roland into their bed. Post-series: Roland, or some version of him, finds them in New York. Song of Susannah AU: Roland and Eddie on Susannah-Mio's tail in New York, 1999.

» Shepard/Miranda - Nothing makes me happier than the thought of cool, practical and collected Miranda having the biggest crush on the galaxy's saviour and being slightly miffed about it. Kissing in the sub-deck, Miranda getting flustered. Undercover as a couple. Kicking ass in fancy dresses. Shep saving Miranda: "Now we're even." Pre-ME2, Miranda musing over Shep's body during Project Lazarus. The first awakening. Post-ME3. Miranda desperately trying to put Shep back together again. (Works for destroy ending, but god I'd love to see her trying in the control ending. Does Shepard's consciousness call to her?)

» Alistair/Zevran - Post-Blight, reluctant King Alistair scenarios! Zevran offering political advice, helping Alistair with courtly machinations, being a distracting bodyguard, thwarting an attempting on Alistair's life. Or: adventuring after the Blight. A night by the camp fire. Soft conversations and teasing. I am a sucker for: first kisses, first times, holding hands, TEASING. Bantering during a fight. Licking a lamppost in winter. (;D) Future fic: Alistair hears the Call, and travels to the Deep Roads. Zevran goes with him.

» Cassandra/Vivienne - Dancing! Please! Wherever, whenever! (...they're meant to be together.) It would be really nice to see Viv in a fancy dress or stately robes. Other things that I'd love: battle poses, standing back to back with their weapons drawn. Holding hands. Hand kissing. Vivienne reading from one of Cassandra's dorky romo novels, looking amused; Cassandra sitting nearby looking embarrassed. SMOOCHING! With Vivienne out of her headdress they're probably the same-ish height but I like to imagine Cass as a teeeeeeensy bit taller. The better for cute tropes like tiptoeing to give kisses. :3
» Vivienne/Sera - I know they hate each other, but I love them both, and that's enough for me to want cute rivalmancy art. Again, battle ready poses would be cool (maybe they're holding each other's weapons?) but feel free to get hijinks-y as well. Making faces at each other (Sera gleefully and blatantly, making the ugliest face she can manage, Vivienne discreetly and demurely in an "I can't believe I'm stooping to this but I'll give as good as I get" way). Vivienne fixing Sera's hair, Sera begrudgingly staying still and pouting. Sleeping together, Sera sprawled all over Viv. If you want to go super silly, which I def. don't mind, stuffed into a shared "GET ALONG" shirt. And again, SMOOCHING. Maybe Sera jumped up, arms around Viv's neck.

» Arrogant Empress in Exile/Sensible Female Foreign Mercenary She's Hired to Protect Her - Why was she exiled? I imagine her constantly scheming to try to get back home/get back at her usurpers, and the mercenary is constantly having to save her butt. How to they temper each other? Quiet moments in a crowded market. Shouting match in a local temple. Mercenary showing empress the sights, the culture. Dressing up and dressing down.
» Charming Princess/Her Gruff Guardswoman Who Tries Hard Not to Seem Too Devoted - COURTLY ROMANCE. Princess spurning princes at a ball to instead coax her grumpy guard into a dance. (Scandal!) There's a spider under my bed, could you get that? :) This nobleman is so tiring, could you get rid of him? :) Oh no a pea fell into my heaving bosom, could you fish it out? :) Guardswoman snapping in ways that would get other people beheaded, but she does it with a full-on blush so Princess doesn't mind. She tries not to seem too devoted, but what's the one thing that pushes her over the edge and makes her affections known? (Alternatively, maybe she TRIES, but she's really bad at not adoring the princess in her grumpy way and everyone knows it.)
» Elf Princess/Female Orc Body Guard - SIZE DIFFERENCE. Love a huge monster lady. Bonus points for gentle giant. How'd the princess end up with an orc bodyguard? Political truce after a war? Neighbouring kingdoms? Promotion after a show of extreme bravery? Cultural differences. Maybe the princess is extremely cold at first. Learning each other's bodies and traditions. Orc smuggles the princess into a bar for a night of fun. Training together? Maybe 'archer elves' are over done but I still love 'em.
» Dethroned and Dishonoured Queen/Lone Loyal Female Knight - On the run. Nights by a campfire. Riding double in a trusty steed. Standing guard at the queen's door in a tavern, being invited in. Sharing warmth. Protecting her from a mob. Duelling with dissidents for her honour. Bridal style carries. Queen tending to knight's wounds. FLASHBACKS TO COURTLY ROMANCE. What are their goals for the future? Who wants to live in a cottage on a hill, who wants to take back the throne?
